Hussien Darweesh has been making Nay's for more than 20 years, and respecting the Ancient Egyptian methods, has developed his own theories and ways to make them, until a point to become an expert in making the best high quality Nays in Egypt.
Each of his Nay's are a selected collection of canes, picked up one by one from different places around Egypt and on certain time of the year to produce them a year later. Some of these places, are almost imposible to reach due that are in the Nile and on the other side are desert dunes, like this place:
